Spiritual Emergence and Spiritual Emergency
We all share in the search for meaning and purpose in life. A spiritual experience that makes you more aware of powerful subtle energies impacting the personal self is part of this, as is the quest to make meaning of such experiences. This is described as Spiritual Emergence, a natural process that is insufficiently recognized in mental healthcare.
When Spiritual Emergence is especially intense, there may be an inner demand to stop everything in order to integrate the event at a deeper level. Sometimes this demand makes it hard to function as usual in work or in relationships. You may become very self-absorbed and even have difficulty finding words for the experience. This is when the process turns into Spiritual Emergency.
Spiritual Emergency and the process of Spiritual Emergence may be a result of:

leaving your body (out-of-body experience)

hearing voices or seeing people who are not alive or physically there (after-death communication, channeling/mediumship)

a difficult experience that challenged your morals.
A person in emergence/emergency needs a sense of safety, understanding, someone to affirm their experience and maintain positive expectations about its ultimate conclusion, an interruption of the sense of isolation, and connection with a human community. I offer a sacred, safe space to explore your experience and a community who understands.

What is spiritual companionship?
In spiritual companionship, a trained companion uses deep listening and thoughtful conversation to encourage your spiritual story to unfurl. Through this relationship, you will be empowered to explore a deeper experience of God, Allah, Tao, The Universe, or however you may refer to the Source of all being. Through this exploration you will gradually move into a new and deeper experience of your self, with an understanding of how God/Source's divine love is interwoven into every aspect of your interactions.
